NextLeap Completes Seed Round, Positioning Itself as an “AI-Powered Compliant Asset Advisor”
Asset management technology startup NextLeap has officially announced the completion of its seed round financing, jointly led by Founders Fund and Polychain Capital, raising approximately $3 million. The funds will be used to expand the core technical team, deepen development of its strategy engine, and accelerate early client deployments of its intelligent asset advisory platform.
“On-Chain Behavior + AI Engine” Model Attracts Capital Attention
Unlike traditional asset management services, NextLeap positions itself as an “AI-powered compliant asset advisor.” Its proprietary CoreX strategy system integrates on-chain data mining, behavioral finance analysis, and natural language strategy generation to offer smarter, more transparent, and personalized asset strategy consulting for private funds, family offices, and high-net-worth investors.
From a technical perspective, the NextLeap engine enables:
- Real-time monitoring of over 100,000 on-chain addresses to detect major fund trends and short-term anomalies
- Market dynamics evaluation within 0.3 seconds, capturing multi-market synchronization signals
- Natural language strategy generation and instant backtesting, shortening the model creation and validation cycle
- Risk control and reporting modules aligned with compliance standards in key regions, including SEC, FINRA, and MiCA
This design—“data-native + AI computation + compliance foundation”—builds a bridge between Web3 and traditional finance, attracting top-tier institutions with a long-term focus on technological transformation to make early bets on the company.
Investor Perspectives
A partner at Founders Fund stated: “NextLeap represents the prototype of next-generation asset advisory platforms—it’s not another fund manager, but a technology system that empowers professional institutions. On-chain data is just the entry point; the real value lies in its ability to restructure asset allocation into something more intelligent, dynamic, and compliant.”
Polychain Capital also noted that NextLeap’s strength lies in its deep understanding of “strategy transparency” and “user-driven advisory services,” with a technical approach that aligns with institutions’ tentative expansion into the digital asset space.
Bird Grant, co-founder and CSO of NextLeap, stated: “We believe that the future of asset advisory services is no longer a ‘black box’—it’s an open architecture driven by AI and centered around the client. With this financing, we’ll further expand our institutional network across the U.S. and Asia, accelerating the development of cross-market strategy modules between equities and crypto assets.”
NextLeap plans to complete the institutional deployment of its platform’s first official version in the first half of 2023, targeting multi-strategy private funds, Web3 asset managers, and family offices.
